TQC is back for 2024! This year we're going bigger and better, while still keeping all of the magic of an intimate setting to create pals for life. Expect the usual campfires every night, and an EPIC (we really mean it) line-up of diverse queer talent. PLEASE READ ALL INFO BEFORE PURCHASING.

About the event
What is The Queer Campfire?
Find your people by the campfire. The Queer Campfire is an exclusive weekend camp-out for LGBTQIA+ Women, Trans and Non-Binary people. Every year we hand-pick a line-up of diverse queer talent and workshops for you to enjoy, getting back to basics in nature and creating connections to last a lifetime.
Who is it for?
This event is predominantly created as a safe space for, queer women, lesbians, trans women, trans men, bisexual women, non-binary folks (AFAB and AMAB), gender-non-conforming folks, queer women of colour and queer older women - you're all welcome here!! Anyone who identifies within this community, and/or agrees to respect that this is a safe space for all of those within this community. You must be aged 18+.

The Site:
Our chosen site for 2024 is set in the stunning Hertfordshire countryside. Reconnect with nature in 150 acres of private woodland, fields and lakes. There are heated indoor showers, flushing loos and access to electrics. There are a number of glamping tents and yurts, all standing in their own private space in one gorgeous meadow, surrounded by tall trees and great views. For those pitching up with tents, there's a camping meadow, and a campervan area for those in vans (Caravans and Motorhomes not allowed unfortunately). IMPORTANT UPDATE ON DOG POLICY: No dogs allowed on site due to the location being an active wildlife programme. Of course all service, support and accessibility dogs are very welcome. Catering
We will have delicious professionally catered street food dinners available throughout the weekend. Each ticket includes a Street Food dinner on the Saturday night (Sri Lankan Curry, V, VE, GF, and DF options available) and you can choose to add a Street Food dinner on Friday night (Loaded Bratwursts, V, VE, GF options available) as an optional extra at checkout.
Please bring your own food and cooking equipment for all other meals.

Includes Street Food Meal on Sat night. One ticket provides entry for one person for the whole weekend. i.e. if you are booking for two people, select 2 tickets etc. Once you arrive feel free to pitch up your tent where you like, with who you like! If you are attending in a campervan please add 'campervan pitch' to your basket, as there is limited van pitches. Ages 18+ ONLY.

Includes Street Food Dinner on Sat night. This ticket is open to any folks that are unemployed or on a low income to help tackle financial barriers in accessing queer spaces. One ticket provides entry for one person for the whole weekend. 18+ ONLY. If bringing a campervan please also select 'campervan pitch'. We highly encourage marginalised folks to utilise this ticket including trans, non-binary & QTIPOC campers.

Friday Night Street Food Meal
Each ticket includes a Street Food dinner on the Saturday night but if you'd rather skip cooking on Friday as well, why not add a Street Food dinner on Friday night too! The Friday meal is Loaded Bratwursts, provided by our professional caterers. V, VE options available - please specify at checkout.

Every person on a campervan pitch must also hold a General Admission (or Low Income) ticket. Maximum van length: 5.5 metres. 1 x campervan pitch = 1 x campervan You MUST hold a campervan pitch ticket to bring a campervan. Campervan pitches are free but there is LIMITED AVAILABILITY due to space limitations. Sorry no motorhomes or caravans allowed on site.

PLEASE BUY ADMISSION TICKET(S) WITH YOUR GLAMPING PURCHASE. A glamping purchase on its own is not admission to the event. Each contains a blissful double bed and up to two single beds, making the bell suitable for a couple or groups of 3-4. All tents are fully-equipped with everything you need; from the essentials - such as a kettle, crockery and cutlery - to the little add-ons that make glamping so much fun, including your own BBQ for al freso dining!

PLEASE BUY TICKET(S) WITH YOUR GLAMPING PURCHASE. A glamping purchase on its own is not admission to the event. Each yurt contains a gloriously comfortable double bed and can be fitted with additional single beds to sleep up to five. Equipped with everything you need for your stay. From cutlery and crockery, to bedding and BBQs, our dreamy yurts are a great way to spend a night or more away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Pay It Forward Donation (PIF)
For those who can afford to do so, you can Pay It Forward - these funds are used to offset subsidised Low Income tickets - thank you for supporting our work. Where PIF donations exceed low income ticket requirements, the remaining sum will be donated to UK Black Pride. If you'd like to contribute more than £5, simply select multiple PIF tickets! Please note: this is not a ticket. Please also add a General Admission ticket to your booking to access the event.
